Musicology is a new music store opening up in the revived downtown of Burlington, Wisconsin just outside of Milwaukee. They wanted to start things out right and create a modern website that could appeal to both the youth in their area as well as their parents. We wanted to capture the vibe of the music that the owners loved while pulling in future generations of musicians.
With a strong youthful contingency, we focused on making the website responsive so that it could display well on various devices, especially mobile. Plus, we created a strategy for incorporating social media into the site to tie in outreach efforts.
A key element for Musicology’s customers’ convenience is online scheduling of music lessons provided in their music studio rooms. We implemented a self-serve scheduling service that took into account instructors’ specialties and availability.
